Maybe get your JOB first so you have that finacial security.. you can then reall assess how much time you do have between job and school.. a young puppy cannot be crated alone more than a few hours at a time.. so keep that in mind.
Your mom may be more easily persuaded if you consider adopting a slightly older pup or young adult.. people dump off dogs when they are not longer "cute and little" puppies… you can easily find a pup around 6 months old.. it may still need some housebreaking, but is able to hold its bladder for longer periods. Even an older pup or young adult will bond to you.. if you are spending the time with the dog and training it, that's how you develop a relationship. Its a myth that you have to get a dog from puppy hood to develop that bond.
Unfortunantly if mom still cant be convinced.. there's nothing more to say except that its her house and her rules.. you can get a pup in a few years when you move out and get your apartment.
First, let me tell you this. It's absolutely okay to be nervous. Just don't let it rule you.
I've been working in call centers for 5 years now, and currently run training classes in MS. I'll break this into bullet points so you get just the highlights.
* Be patient with yourself. It absolutely is true that we are our own worst enemy. Don't let your own anxieties cloud your mind.
* Take lots of good notes. Training is always more effective if you are able to learn it kinestenicly (IE: Listen, read, write), this also helps you to reference key points in the training.
* Ask lots of questions. Chances are, if you have a question, at least 2 other people are wondering about something along the same lines. Don't be afraid to pop your hand up. Most instructors encourage this. I know from experience that the worst type of training class to walk into is a quiet one.
* Calm down!! There's nothing wrong with being excited/anxious/nervous, so long as you see it for what it is and keep a clear head. I know I stated this once, but it really is the most important thing you can do.
* Don't get discouraged. If you feel like you're getting behind, or missing things, see if you can come in early/stay late with the instructor for some 1 on 1 time. We don't mind, I promise.
Keep these things in mind, and remember to breathe, and you'll do fine.

You should put the flyers at kids stores, park, & grocery stores. On my flyer i put my name & email address & babysitting exp info. I would also put my cell number.

When going to an interview / meeting the parents, wear comfy, proper, clothes. Be respectful & look very happy. Always smile & keep the children safe. Be creative with the children & make sure to be nice. Don't let them get away with everything tho. Do your best so they will tell there parents to call you again.

2. The weather report promises occasional showers but you look at the cloudless sky and see no signs of dull weather. So you ignore the warning hoping you won’t be caught in the rain. However, it starts raining. The rain starts SOAKING through your clothes and you are getting wet. What would you do?
4. You have invited OVER SOME friends INCLUDING A POTENTIAL BOYFRIEND. You understand it’s your chance to show yourself in the best possible way. Your idea is to impress the company with a delicious cake since baking is your strong point. But your attention is distracted by a telephone call. YOU FORGET ABOUT THE CAKE IN THE OVEN. When you smell something burning there is [DELETE ALREADY] nothing to save. What would you do?
5. You are at the hairdresser’s [DELETE: you want] to have your hair cut. The hairdresser seems to have very skillful hands and you are pleased with his work – your stylish haircut makes you look years younger. You think the young man deserves generous tip but this very moment you discover you have left your wallet in another jacket’s pocket. What would you do?
6. You have placed an order for a nice pair of jeans from an OTTO CATALOG. When the parcel eventually arrives you discover to your great disappointment that though the quality is best imaginable, this model doesn’t fit you in the waist. What would you do?
