This is the sequel to Star Trek II, and James Horner would return to score this film. Which would seem to be a problem in most of Horner’s scores he wasn’t pleased with the amount he had to work on this film. Either way he did create a more subtle piece of work on this score and some think it’s even superior to that of Star Trek II. I don’t agree with that to be honest, but it is a fine effort by the composer. He also did create a new Klingon theme which was heavily inspired by Goldsmith’s version. Once again though Horner utilizes Alexander Courages opening fanfare in a more impressive way this time in my opinion. The theme is more gentle this time around than it was in Star Trek II and so is much of the score. This would be Horner’s last venture into Star Trek for the simple reason I believe that he thought that he had “Out Grown” the franchise. An infuriating comment by him since this franchise basically gave this man his career. It never stopped Goldsmith from scoring several of the movies or the television programs for Star Trek.

    try to find somebody who changed his/her career a few times. try to think about the relationships he/she had, the roles he had taken so far, his/her background to see if his job is related to the roots!!

    if u can mkae a good analysis, i guess it doesnt matter which career u choose!! but maybe u can think something like a lawyer, an artist, or a pilot!!

    It is very tricky for job seekers like you mentioned. It sucks and is time consuming to have to weed through all the scams or junk. There are two reasons why work at home business scams are always found on even the most popular job sites. First, lots of people fall for these scams so frauds do make money from these ads (as sad as it is to hear). Then, job search sites get hundreds even thousands of job listings submitted each day and that is A LOT of listings to weed through. They don't have the time to do this; therefore, those scam ads usually stay online.

    It really depends on your skill set. For general job searchs, monster.com is an excellent choice. As for engineers and careers that overlap with software, then http://www.dice.com is the best. I've used dice.com successfully many times. The "catch" is to market your skills and experience effectively on your resume. If you have a college education, see if your career services center offers a portfolio website that employers can look at with your skills. The more skills and experience you have, the better. I was laid off a couple of times early in my career. I adapted to the cruel job market by developing a multi-disciplinary background. So now I have had many inquiries, interviews, daily phone calls, emails, etc. from dice.com. I got a great job a few days ago and am euphoric right now. I would recommend a career in health career or engineering. Software engineering, mechanical engineering, and chemical engineering are good examples. Non-traditional majors that are also good include MBA/healthcare, physician's assistant, MRI tech, medical informatics, medical billing, business intelligence, FDA regulatory affairs, etc. Just choose one you like.

    Take ANY job that will pay the bills right now — BUT, do not give up on searching for your dream job. Four months of being out of work isn't fun, but if the experience of others is any indication, you may have a lot longer to go.

    My advice is to apply to a few jobs that you are fairly confident you can get and fairly confident will pay your bills, while also continuing to apply for jobs you'd actually like to have long-term. Once you get a job that will pay your bills, thank your lucky stars and then keep looking around. Having a job in hand will let you breathe a little easier and take the pressure off of your job search.

    You didn't say how old you are but I'll assume you are over 18.

    A new career is something that should be decided with care. You want to ask yourself what kind of lifestyle you'd like and be sure to pick a career that will easily support it.

    The 3 crucial issues to bear in mind are:

    1. The Satisfaction a career will offer you. This will be related to you abilities, likes and dislikes.

    2. The Income. Your career should at least permit you to live relatively comfortably, if not luxuriously from the income it has to offer.

    3. The Time you'll have to yourself and for your loved ones whilst pursuing the career. There is no point at all in finding that you have to spend all your time working your career and little for yourself and your loved ones.

    You have to find a career that balances all 3 issues well enough for you. There's no better career, of course, than the one that can satisfy all 3. Also, you will find that the issue of satisfaction in your career does not really count that much IF it offers you enough income and time, because you can use the ample income and time it gives you to go do whatever it is you are really interested in.

    When you tie these 3 issues with what is happening to traditional jobs today, you will be well advised to find something you can do on your own and most likely from home.

    This is where the Internet comes in. It is easily your best option if you are to fulfil all foregoing prerequisites.

    In spite of the many scams that you must beware of, and which many people allow to turn them off thereby missing out big time, great opportunities also exist and you only have to take a bit of time to look closely enough.
